     For the majority of my young life I was a gymnast.  And as most athletes, I had my share of injuries, the most severe being shin splints.  I was in so much pain there were times I had to withdraw from one event or another and sometimes from the entire competition.  Due to my body overcompensating for the leg pain, my low back started to hurt.  After a while it hurt so badly I could barely bend.  I had developed a stress fracture in the small of my back.  After going from on specialist to another, being put on one medication after another and finally being told to quit the sport, my parents took me to a chirproactor.  He did an exam, took some films, and then adjusted my spine.  Under his care, I was able to continue competing internationally for another 12 years--pain free... no drugs, no surgery!

     The treatments felt good.  It worked so well that I went to chiropractic school myself.  I am not only a doctor that specializes in chiropractic care, I too was a patient.  I not only believe in my practice, but also am proof itself that the treatment and long term maintenance work.  I put my experience and belief in all my patients care.

     Caleb, my nephew, at around two years old had a bout of constipation when he began eating solid foods.  He was adjusted and had a bowl movement soon after.

     Ariella, my niece, was plagued by a fever years back, 103 to be exact.  Imagine a little girl so hot and tender to the touch that looking at her made her cry.  After I adjusted her, the fever started to improve immediately.  By the next day she was able to play outside and the tenderness was gone too.  She's had only one episode since, and adjustments helped again.

     Haley was born with a severe neurological disorder.  Her parents were told that she would probably never eat, walk or talk.  she has been in therapy since she was three months old and her progress has been excellent.  However, she was told that she would probably have to have a hip replacement surgery.  Her mother, who is a patient of mine, and has had a great results with chiropractic care, decided to bring Haley into see me.  Since starting chiropractic, Haley's range of motion has improved and the movement has enabled her to "experience her body's capabilities."
